It's that time of year again with 22nd April 2013 marking the 43rd Earth Day
Wolfestone staff have been celebrating individually and collectively by walking to work and using sustainable transport for the day.
There are lots of simple things that everyone can do to get involved in Earth Day.
You could sign up for the Mail Preference Service to stop Junk mail, opt out of paper pay slips and use scrap paper instead of fresh paper where possible to save a few trees!
Switching off lights when the sun is shining in the office, and turning off the radiators now it’s warming up, is also a simple but effective way to save energy.
One of the best ways to celebrate Earth Day is to use it as an opportunity to raise awareness of what we can do, all the time, to help the environment and the planet.
For those of you who have some free time, there are plenty of local and national events you can attend to celebrate Earth Day.
Here in Swansea, The Environment Centre
and Keep Wales Tidy
have a multitude of events throughout the year where you're able to contribute your time and talents for the environment.
Do you have any more ideas for Earth Day?
We'd love to hear from you.
