This is why in past couple of years, certain content crimes emerged. Click-bait is one of the biggest content crimes of all. In it's essence in deceives the reader, making them anticipate something which at the end, isn't featured in the actual content. An attractive title that isn't relevant to the article is surely a good way of losing readers. Over-repurposing and ignoring the end user is what has also become very prevalent in content marketing. Many companies choose to produce whitepapers, blogs, infographics and host webinars and events on the same subject over a long period of time. That's when you start losing readers.
