Wolfestone Partners on UK Release of Climate Change Film ‘The Age of Stupid’

Supporting a powerful cultural call to action on climate change through expert multilingual translation.

Wolfestone has been selected as the UK translation partner for the multi-language DVD release of The Age of Stupid, a compelling film featuring Pete Postlethwaite. Set in 2055, the film follows a man reflecting on humanity’s failure to act on climate change when there was still time.

Produced to inspire public action on the global climate crisis, The Age of Stupid has been hailed by environmental writer Mark Lynas as “the most powerful piece of cultural discourse on climate change ever produced.”

Wolfestone, which operates a dedicated Renewable Energy division called Eco Trans, warmly welcomed the opportunity to contribute to this significant project.

Anna Bastek said:
“As a green and ethical company, we are proud to be involved in this epic production. We understand the urgency of addressing climate change. As part of our commitment, we are working towards becoming a carbon-neutral company.”

She added, “We hope this film will resonate widely and motivate urgent action to protect our planet.”

The Age of Stupid is in the spirit of Al Gore’s 2006 documentary An Inconvenient Truth, using the power of film to drive awareness and change. Its UK cinema release is scheduled for 20th March, with the film’s success depending on audience turnout in its opening days.

Wolfestone is actively promoting the film and is pleased to offer free tickets to clients.
