Wolfestone Extends Charity Initiatives to Support Community

pudsey-456_newWolfestone Translation, a leading language translation company offering translation and voiceover services across all languages, reveal the extent of the charity work they have taken part in recently, and are scheduled to take part in over the coming months. This year, Wolfestone Translation is getting involved in large-scale fundraising for Children in Need 2011. In addition to weekly fundraising activities in the office, including staff fancy dress on Halloween, the language translation agency would like to give customers the opportunity to take part too. For every translation Wolfestone sells, their customers will have the option to donate a minimum of £1 to BBC Children in Need. This fundraising starts in October and will last till the 2011 appeal show, which screens on the BBC on 18th November 2011. Wolfestone has also been busy helping other charities, as part of their ongoing dedication to their corporate social responsibilities. The company sponsored children’s cancer charity Christian Lewis Trust, sponsored a hole on a golf fundraising day for Dance Crazy Studio, and Director Anna Bastek took part in a cycle ride from Swansea to Mumbles to raise money for Glaze Prostate Cancer Wales. Members of the Wolfestone team also regularly take part in full and half marathons, triathlons and other physically demanding activities to raise money for worthwhile causes. Any money raised by staff is match funded by the company! Wolfestone also continually works closely with local schools and universities by helping to prepare pupils and students for the world of work and sponsoring awards for the best students. Wolfestone Director Anna Bastek commented: “Wolfestone has the highest possible ethical standards and is a socially responsible company - we care about the environment, our staff, and reward them for their hard work and loyalty, and we also invest a lot in training and developing our staff. We feel it is a responsibility of our success to help out wherever we can. We are not just about making money; we want to give something back to the community.”
