Wolfestone Holdings MD Shortlisted for Prestigious Welsh Leadership Award

July 30, 2018 Alex Parr, Managing Director of Wolfestone Holdings, has been named on the shortlist for Leading Wales’s “Leadership in the Private Sector” award. Shortlisted alongside three of Wales’ most talented leaders in the private sector – Angharad Gwyn (Adra Cyf), Tracey Jones (Ferguson & Peter’s), Katie Moss (Otium Partners) - Ms Parr’s outstanding leadership of Wolfestone Holdings over the past year has been recognised and celebrated. As well as Alex Parr’s incredible individual achievement, under her leadership Wolfestone has achieved the status of “Highly Commended” by the judges of the Inspiring Great Leadership (Organisational Award) category. On being shortlisted, Ms. Parr commented: “I’m absolutely delighted and humbled to have been shortlisted for this award. It’s a great achievement for me personally but, really, it’s a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the great teams at Wolfestone, VoiceBox and Robertson Languages. Together we’ve established this great environment which helps us to continue growing and achieving success. My job is to make sure we’re always building on that and moving forward.”

Acquisition and Growth

In the past twelve months, Wolfestone has achieved monumental success. One of the company’s key goals has long been to grow through acquisition. Under Alex’s guidance and leadership, this target was finally achieved. In December 2017, Wolfestone Holdings welcomed Robertson Languages International into the fold – an award-winning company which specialises in language training for businesses. In aligning Robertson Languages with translation experts, Wolfestone, and voiceover and subtitling specialists, VoiceBox, Wolfestone Holdings not only achieved record growth but combined the strengths of two established and successful language service providers to offer an enhanced service to new and existing clients. Ms. Parr added: “It was a long, and at times difficult, process to finally achieve our ambition of acquiring another company. In Robertson Languages we found the perfect suitor. A very reputable company with an established talented team. Wolfestone Holdings is in a very strong position to continue the record-setting growth it has achieved in the past. As the leader of these companies, I’m very excited to see what the future will bring.”
