Wolfestone Partners with Tenovus Cancer Care to Raise £10,000
Join us on this journey where we will be engaging with our stakeholders, staff members and the local community in 10 events over the year to raise £10,000.
We are excited to be celebrating our 10th year in business in September. In honour of us reaching our double digits, we knew we wanted to partner with a charity to raise money for a good cause. What better way to celebrate than to give instead of receive?
We decided to partner with a charity that battles something that, sadly, affects 1 in 3 of us. Maybe not directly, but the emotional impact of finding out a loved one is suffering is affecting too. That is why we chose to partner with Tenovus Cancer Care, a charity that helps those who are isolated by a debilitating disease. They provide support, advice and treatment to those suffering.

At Tenovus Cancer Care our aims are simple. We want to help prevent, treat and find a cure for cancer. We do this by offering support, advice and treatment to cancer patients and their loved ones. We also promote healthy lifestyles and fund cancer research to find new ways to prevent it, diagnose it, and treat it.
One way or another we will all be affected by cancer in our lives, it can be frightening and stressful. We can help. We bring treatment, emotional support and practical advice to where it matters most; the heart of the community. Tenovus Cancer Care is here to help you cope, and through our vital research, we offer hope. We’re the leading cancer charity in Wales and, whenever you need us, we’re here.
We take cancer care into the heart of communities, bringing treatment, advice and support closer to home.
We invest research to improve how cancer is diagnosed and treated, not just in the lab but also in communities.
We focus on activities in the community like our choirs, creative support groups, events and Bereavement Groups.
We work in communities to develop programmes that promote healthy living, early detection and screening.
We are always looking to develop the role of our shops in communities, so they are not just somewhere to pick up a bargain, but a place to find out about services, events and volunteering.
We are here 365 days a year to offer information, support and practical advice. We can help with money worries and if you need someone to talk to, we’re here. We bring treatment closer to home to make life a little bit easier, and our choirs for people affected by cancer lift spirits and improve well-being.
