On Tuesday, 12th September, Wolfestone’s MD Alex Parr was part of a panel of experts and business people who shared their experiences of trading in new overseas markets with an engaged audience.
Ms Parr was joined by Ross Weir of HJ Weir Engineering, Chris Meadows of IQE, Nigel Payne, honorary consul for Slovakia in Wales and Wedad Kurukgy of UK Export Finance.
The trade breakfast was held at the office of Eversheds Sutherland, 1 Callaghan Square, Cardiff.
Thorough Planning is Key

Wolfestone’s MD Alex Parr explained to the listener’s in the audience that thorough planning is the key to export success as it allows businesses to enter new markets quickly. To underline her point, she shared Wolfestone’s previous experience of targeting the US market with the help of the UK Government.
Ms Parr summarises the breakfast event:

The audience posed some fantastic questions, ranging from the ever-changing landscape of bitcoins and the increasing threat of international cyber-crime.”
