Wolfestone has made Chamber of Commerce Awards history after being shortlisted for four major categories, more than any company before.
The UK-based language services firm is in the running for:
-
Most Promising Growth Business
-
Award for Skills & People Development
-
Entrepreneur of the Year (Roy Allkin)
-
Welsh Company of the Year
The winners will be announced on Wednesday, 1 February at City Hall Cardiff, with the ceremony hosted by ITV and Sky News broadcaster Mai Davies. The event is sponsored by the University of Glamorgan Business School.
These nominations follow a period of exceptional success for Wolfestone. Over the past five years, the company has achieved a 1200% increase in turnover, placing it among the 20 fastest growing businesses in Wales.
With support from the Welsh Assembly Government, Wolfestone has invested more than £100,000 in staff training and development over the past year alone.
Anna Bastek, Co-founder and Managing Director, reflected on the milestone:
“We’ve been winners and finalists in over 20 award categories in the past four years. Every task we undertake is guided by one rule: do our best for our clients. Being recognised again is incredibly rewarding.”
She added:
“I don’t believe in shortcuts to success. If you want to build a great company, you must focus on being a great employer, a consistent innovator, and a reliable service provider. Every time a client tells us they’re delighted and will return, that’s a win in itself.”
Wolfestone’s ongoing commitment to excellence in translation, interpreting and localisation services has attracted a growing list of prestigious clients across a range of industries. These latest nominations confirm the company’s status as a standout leader in Wales’ business landscape.
