Wolfestone Celebrates Double Nomination at 2019 ATC Awards

Shortlisted for both Translation Company of the Year and Translator of the Year

Wolfestone is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted for two major honours at the 2019 ATC Language Industry AwardsCompany of the Year and Translator of the Year.

The winners will be announced at the ATC Awards Gala Dinner, taking place on Thursday 19 September aboard the historic Cutty Sark – one of the most anticipated events in the language industry calendar.

A company making headlines

Wolfestone’s nomination for Company of the Year reflects another standout year of performance, innovation and resilience. Despite market uncertainty surrounding Brexit, the business continues to grow.

Talent translated into national recognition

Wolfestone is also celebrating the shortlisting of Laurie Waters, English Language Editor, for Translator of the Year. Based just five minutes from the Swansea headquarters, Laurie joined Wolfestone two years ago and has quickly become a key member of the team.

Chloë Driscoll, Operations Manager, said:

“We are all thrilled for Laurie. She goes above and beyond for our clients and our team. This recognition is thoroughly deserved, and we’re wishing her all the best.”

Laurie added:

About the ATC Awards

Organised by the Association of Translation Companies, the ATC Awards form part of the Language Industry Summit – an annual gathering of the UK’s leading language service providers.

The awards recognise excellence across multiple categories, including Translator of the Year and Company of the Year, highlighting outstanding achievement and contribution to the industry over the past 12 months.
