Anna Bastek, Co-founder of Wolfestone, has been announced as the keynote speaker for the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) South Wales Region Annual General Meeting 2010. The event will take place on Sunday, 28 November at the Old Hall, St David’s Building, University of Wales Trinity Saint David in Lampeter.
As the co-founder of Wales’ largest language services company, Bastek will offer insights into how Wolfestone has not only weathered the recession but achieved consistent year-on-year growth. Her talk will focus on practical strategies for businesses looking to survive and thrive in uncertain economic conditions.
“Wolfestone’s revenue has more than doubled every year since its inception, even through one of the toughest financial periods in recent history,” said Bastek. “I want to share what we’ve learned with other business leaders, especially those trying to commercialise new ideas and navigate uncertainty.”
Bastek’s keynote will draw from her experience in business development, marketing, and team leadership, all of which have played a central role in Wolfestone’s success. The company has won multiple awards for business excellence and is widely recognised as a standout in the translation and localisation sector.
The FSB represents over 220,000 members across the UK and regularly hosts high-profile events that provide inspiration and support for the small business community. This year’s AGM will also include the organisation’s traditional Sunday lunch.
A previous FSB event in Swansea featured Bastek alongside Wigan Athletic FC Manager Roberto Martinez, highlighting the FSB’s commitment to offering diverse and engaging content for its membership.
