Wolfestone have taken active steps in providing their award-winning language services to clients in the lucrative Middle East market. Business Development Manager, Alex Griffin, recently travelled to the region with the Welsh Government’s Dubai Trade Mission.
In line with Wolfestone’s strategy for global expansion, Dubai, a multicultural melting pot with over 200 different nationalities living and working within the region, is a fantastic hub for the company’s bespoke language services.
The Trade Mission was a great success for Wolfestone. It included a worth-while visit to the Middle East’s largest food and beverage exhibition, Gulfood 2017, where exhibitors from all over the world showcased their products.
Alex Griffin said: “The Gulfood exhibition was fantastic for us as we had a huge demand for our services. Specifically, our website and document translation services were identified as a key component in brand engagement and compliance regulations.”
St. David’s Day Celebrations at the British Embassy in Dubai
As part of the Welsh Government’s Trade Mission delegation, Wolfestone was invited to the St. David’s Day event at the British Embassy in Dubai. Alex Griffin said: “It was a great night of networking in a relaxed environment. We were treated to some of the best opera in the world, with two singers from the Welsh National Opera giving a fantastic performance for an hour
World-renowned chef, Gary Rhodes, also gave up his own spare time to perform a cooking demonstration. He had some fabulous Welsh ingredients flown in especially, including Welsh Lamb which he cooked to perfection in-front of a crowd of 300+ hungry guests.
A big thank you to the Welsh Trade Mission organisers and we look forward to attending future events.
