Wolfestone Renews Support for Translators without Borders

Championing access to knowledge through translation.

Wolfestone is proud to once again support the inspiring work of Translators without Borders with a donation – helping non-profit organisations deliver vital information in the world’s most marginalised languages.

Since 2011, Translators without Borders has translated over 25 million words for humanitarian and non-profit partners. That’s more than $1 million worth of professional translation each year – allowing charities to reinvest those savings directly into frontline services.

Their work is wide-ranging and high-impact. From training local translators in Kenya to support Swahili language access, to providing Syrian refugees with critical updates in Arabic, to increasing the availability of medical Wikipedia articles in over 40 languages, the organisation plays a key role in connecting people with life-saving knowledge.

As Unicef states, “As many as 40 percent of child deaths could be prevented with improved family and community care – not through high-tech equipment, but through access to solid knowledge, support and basic supplies.” Language is a gateway to that knowledge, and translation is what makes it possible.

At Wolfestone, we believe that everyone deserves access to clear, accurate, and timely information – no matter their language. We’re honoured to support Translators without Borders in their mission to ensure that critical content is accessible to all.

As a global language provider, we recognise the privilege of speaking a dominant language. But across the world, many communities lack the linguistic access to essential healthcare information, education, and emergency guidance. That’s why we continue to donate – and why we encourage others to do the same.

It’s a cause that truly matters. Please join us in supporting it.
